I’m in nesting mode, wanting to throw out things, organize and set up for new life.
The night before Valentine’s Day, Husband and I went out for dinner. We had fresh salad, paella, and meat loaf drenched in gravy. Then we went to Bay Street and Husband said we could each pick something out for ourselves within a reasonable budget. Of course we went to Uniqlo where we got underwear because it was on sale, and I got a pair of navy blue lounge pants which Husband was quite jealous of.
After dessert at Fuddrucker’s, we went to the bookstore where I got the newest book by Marie Kondo I had been eyeing for the past week. I started reading it immediately and am in KonMari mode. Today I organized our shoes and winter accessories. Last night I organized my underwear drawer, which I now open with anticipation. And I’m determined to buy some fancy new bras which are to be treated as royalty, laid out and gently nestled against each other.
Clothes are done. Next are books. And I guess we should set up our glider and car seat, too. Eeeeeek.
